Role Description The Public Relations Communications Specialist is a part-time, hybrid role based in Charleroi, PA, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for managing social media content, marketing, advertising, community outreach, fundraising, and website management. Daily tasks include promoting social media content, updating websites, participating in community outreach events, maintaining donor relations, drafting newsletters, assisting with staff recruiting, and supporting strategic communication plans for events and campaigns. The specialist will collaborate with leadership and program staff to ensure consistent messaging across digital platforms, print materials, and community partnerships, while upholding the ministry’s values and voice.

- Demonstrated skills in social media relations for promoting organizational news, advertisements, and events.
- Experience in Public Relations and Strategic Communications to support outreach, branding, and storytelling.
- Strong Communication abilities, including clear writing, editing, and interpersonal communication with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with social media, email marketing, and basic content creation tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work setting.
- Experience in nonprofit, ministry, youth programs, or camp environments is an asset.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and sensitivity to the Christian mission and values of Shekinah Ranch.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in Communications
