Job Summary

We are hiring a Composite Fabricator/Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Spanish Fork, UT, supporting advanced aerospace and defense manufacturing operations. This hands-on role is ideal for mechanically inclined candidates with experience in composite fabrication, lamination, mechanical assembly, production, or manufacturing.

In this position, you will help fabricate, assemble, cure, and finish composite materials and aircraft components using materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, honeycomb, adhesives, resins, and related composite systems. The work environment is fast-paced, safety-focused, and team-oriented, with supportive leadership, structured processes, and opportunities to build long-term skills in aerospace manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform composite lay-up, mold preparation, vacuum bagging, curing support, and finishing of composite and aircraft components.
- Cut, prepare, and handle composite materials including tape, woven materials, honeycomb, adhesives, resins, catalysts, fiberglass, and carbon fiber.
- Drill, route, trim, sand, contour, and finish components to meet blueprint dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements.
- Assemble components using structural adhesives, rivets, threaded fasteners, hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and templates.
- Prepare bonding surfaces through sanding, cleaning, treating, bodywork, and painting processes.
- Maintain accurate production records, verify material expiration dates, follow safety procedures, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Compensation and Benefits

- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Location: Spanish Fork, UT.
- Level I, 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, $19.41 per hour, 2+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Level I, 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM, $20.41 per hour, 2+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Level I, 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM, $21.41 per hour, 2+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Level II, 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, $23.00 per hour, 3+ years of composite or lamination experience.
- Level II, 2nd Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, $24.00 per hour, 3+ years of composite or lamination experience.
- 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.
- Multiple shift options available.
- Overtime or extended hours may be required as needed.
