An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting elementary and middle school students in a dynamic school-based environment. This full-time, onsite contract role spans through November 2026 and is ideal for professionals eager to make a meaningful impact while growing their careers.
You’ll provide services to both self-contained and resource classrooms, working collaboratively with educators and fellow therapists. Our comprehensive “Buddy Program” pairs new hires with experienced team members to ensure a welcoming, thorough orientation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary and middle school students in accordance with IEPs and district protocols
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student participation and success
- Conduct assessments using readily available equipment and standardized materials
- Document progress, maintain compliance, and participate in annual performance reviews
- Take part in process improvement initiatives, promoting best practices in service delivery
- Engage with your team in regular meetings, monthly roundtables, and interactive discussions via our unique social media-style intranet
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid OT licensure and certification required for school-based practice
- Previous experience with elementary or middle school populations is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability and a willingness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
