Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and dependable Part Time Receptionist for an on-site financial services office in Kennewick, WA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service, staying organized, and creating a welcoming first impression for clients and visitors.
As the first point of contact for the office, the Part Time Receptionist will support front desk operations, phone coverage, scheduling assistance, mail handling, and general administrative tasks. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, a professional office environment, and the potential for the assignment to extend or convert to a full-time role. Candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential information will be well positioned for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner and maintain a welcoming reception area.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
- Manage front desk procedures, visitor sign-ins, appointment scheduling, and calendar requests as needed.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, deliveries, and office documents.
- Assist with basic administrative support, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and office organization.
- Handle sensitive client and business information with confidentiality and discretion.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate: $20.28 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Duration: 3 months, with expected extension and possible conversion to full-time employment.
- Work location: On site at 8203 W Quinault Ave # A, Kennewick, WA 99336.
- Work environment: Professional office setting with seated desk work and occasional standing or walking.
