Responsibilities
- Maintain proper licensure in compliance with State Board regulations.
- Provide high-quality haircuts, fades, hot towel shaves, beard trims, and styling services.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and professional station in compliance with State Board regulations.
- Acquire and maintain new business to expand your client base.
- Manage your own client schedule, payments, and appointments.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
- License: Active State Barber or Cosmetology License (Required).
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English is a major plus, bit not required (eligible for booth rental discount!).
- Experience: Minimum [e.g., 2+] years behind the chair preferred (established client base is a plus, but walk-in traffic is available).
- Tools: Must provide your own professional clippers, shears, razors, and personal styling products.
- Insurance: Active Barber/Cosmetology Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start date).
- Skills: Proficient in modern and classic fading, line-ups, scissor work, and beard grooming.
Compensation
- This is a independent contractor role. All compensation is paid directly to you by your clients. You set your own schedule and fees. You will have access to the shop at all times, 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
