Job Description
NB Pure | Reports to: Founder & CEO | Full-Time | In-Office, In-Person Position - Phoenix, AZ
Position Overview
I’m looking for someone who can become a true right hand to me as Founder & CEO of NB Pure. The primary focus is supporting me in the business, but the role also crosses into personal support when needed. This is not a job that fits neatly into one box—and that is intentional.
This is an all-encompassing role. One day you may be helping drive a major project across teams, and the next you may be organizing files, coordinating travel or handling a personal task. I need someone who is equally comfortable with the big picture and the details—and willing to jump in wherever needed to get things done.
I move quickly and have a lot going on at any given time, so I need someone who can create organization around me and help keep everything moving. Priorities can change quickly, and new ideas and projects come up often. The right person can pivot, bring structure to the moving pieces, and make sure nothing important gets lost along the way.
Health and wellness are a big part of both my life and the business I’ve built. I’m looking for someone who values health and wellness, enjoys living an active lifestyle, and understands that these priorities are naturally part of my day-to-day life.
This can be a great role for an experienced Executive Assistant, but I’m also open to someone earlier in their career who is smart, driven, hardworking, highly organized, eager to learn, and willing to take ownership of whatever is put in front of them. For me, attitude, judgment, work ethic, trust, and follow-through matter as much as a traditional EA résumé.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive, Administrative & Business Support
- Manage my calendar, meetings, travel, commitments, and daily priorities—and help me stay ahead of what is coming next.
- Keep my business and administrative world organized, including electronic and physical files, documents, notes, correspondence, records, and outstanding items.
- Prepare and organize presentations, spreadsheets, meeting materials, reports, correspondence, and other business documents as needed.
- Coordinate meetings, travel, events, appointments, and the details that go along with them.
- Communicate and follow up with employees, vendors, business partners, and others on my behalf when appropriate.
- Handle the day-to-day details—from filing and organizing computer files to confidential or time-sensitive business matters.
- See what needs to be done, take initiative, and make sure important details and commitments do not fall through the cracks.
Project Management & Follow-Through
- Take ownership of projects and initiatives, whether they are large, small, fully defined, or still just an idea that needs to be organized.
- Turn conversations, emails, meetings, and ideas into clear action items, deadlines, and next steps.
- Manage multiple projects at once, track deliverables and follow-ups, and keep things moving until they are complete.
- Work across departments and with outside partners to gather information, solve problems, and get things done.
- Know when to handle something independently, when to delegate or follow up, and when I need to be pulled in.
- Create simple, practical systems that make me and the business more organized and efficient without adding unnecessary process.
Content & Social Media Coordination
- Work with NB Pure’s content and social media teams to coordinate and execute content needs involving me.
- Help organize my schedule and preparation for social media, photography, video, interviews, events, and other brand activities.
- Help turn things I’m doing, thinking about, or working on into actionable content opportunities for the team.
Personal Support
The business will be the primary focus, but personal support is also part of the role. I’m looking for someone I can trust with both sides of my life and who understands that sometimes the two overlap.
Because this role crosses between my business and personal life, you’ll also spend time around my family. I’m looking for someone who can integrate naturally and comfortably into that environment while always maintaining professionalism, discretion, and good judgment.
- Assist with personal scheduling, appointments, travel, reservations, research, purchases, and other personal matters as needed.
- Help coordinate personal and family-related priorities when they intersect with my schedule and responsibilities.
- Handle personal, family, and confidential information with discretion, good judgment, and complete trustworthiness.
- Some travel will be required for business, events, and occasional personal or family-related needs. Flexibility and the ability to travel when needed are important for this role.
Who I’m Looking For
I care less about whether you check every traditional Executive Assistant box and more about how you work. You may already be an experienced EA supporting a CEO or founder, or you may be someone with less direct experience who has the drive and capability to grow quickly into the role.
- Values health and wellness and enjoys living an active lifestyle.
- Highly organized and naturally good at creating order.
- A strong written and verbal communicator.
- A self-starter who does not need to be told every next step.
- Hardworking, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and switching gears quickly.
- Resourceful—you will not always be given a roadmap, so you need to be comfortable figuring things out.
- Strong at follow-through. Starting something is not enough; I need someone who closes the loop.
- Comfortable doing both high-level work and very hands-on work without seeing either as beneath the role.
- Able to work well with different personalities and build strong relationships across the company.
- Confident enough to keep me organized, remind me when something needs my attention, and help keep priorities on track.
- Trustworthy, loyal, discreet, and someone who uses good judgment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new technology and organizational tools.
Experience
Prior experience supporting a CEO, founder, owner, or senior executive is a plus, but it is not the only path into this role. I am open to candidates with less direct experience who can demonstrate exceptional organization, initiative, maturity, work ethic, communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly and take ownership.
For a more experienced candidate, I’ll expect you to bring strong executive support and project-management skills from day one. For someone earlier in their career, I’ll expect hunger, resourcefulness, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn fast and take on whatever comes your way.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means keeping me organized, priorities moving, and details handled so I can stay focused on where I add the most value.
Over time, I want this person to learn how I work, anticipate what I need, and become someone I can hand something to and trust that it will get handled.
There is no narrow lane for this job. If something needs to get done and it falls within the world of supporting me and helping the business move forward, I want someone whose first instinct is: “I’ll figure it out.”
Compensation & Benefits
Salary commensurate with experience, capability, and demonstrated ability, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
Medical Benefits, Vacation / PTO, 401K, Discounts on NBPURE products
Benefits and paid time off will be provided in accordance with NB Pure’s applicable employee benefit programs and company policies.
