Join our family-run upscale women’s consignment shop as a friendly, competent Sales Associate with style and a little spunk. You’ll provide balanced service to customers and consignors, support everyday shop operations, and work directly with the shop owner. This role is ideal for an upbeat, self-directed team member who takes direction well, can multitask with a smile, and is interested in several hours of social media and Shopify work each week. A store management pathway is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, knowledgeable service to customers and consignors.
- Support daily operations in the upscale women’s consignment shop.
- Assist with sales, point-of-sale activities, inventory, and visual merchandising.
- Use Shopify and social media tools for several hours each week.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
- Follow direction from the shop owner while working independently when needed.
- Remain on your feet for at least four hours and lift clothing as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in retail sales, retail, or restaurant service.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with customer relationship management and communication.
- Familiarity with Shopify, social media marketing, visual merchandising, point-of-sale systems, or inventory management.
- Ability to multitask effectively and maintain a friendly, upbeat demeanor.
