About the Opportunity
\n
Bluebird Staffing is hiring on behalf of a client, a well-established, multidisciplinary design firm specializing in civil engineering, landscape architecture, land planning, and surveying, for a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join its headquarters team in Chantilly, VA.
\n
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to join a collaborative team and play an integral role in supporting marketing, communications, and business development initiatives.
\n
The firm works across a diverse range of public and private sector markets, including sports and recreation, federal facilities, national parks, mixed-use developments, higher education, K-12 education, municipal projects, residential and commercial development, utilities, infrastructure, and data centers.
\n
The Senior Marketing Coordinator will work closely with leadership, technical professionals, and the marketing team to develop compelling marketing materials, coordinate proposals, strengthen brand visibility, and support strategic business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including prime and subconsultant submissions.
- Collaborate with office leadership, the Director of Business Development and Marketing, and administrative staff to develop high-quality proposal materials.
- Identify, track, and monitor new business opportunities that align with the firm's market sectors and strategic growth objectives.
- Maintain marketing databases, project information, and opportunity tracking reports in collaboration with leadership.
- Develop and coordinate marketing communications, including industry articles, digital newsletters, presentations, and other collateral.
- Maintain and update the corporate website and social media platforms, including LinkedIn and X.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives, events, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Manage and update marketing collateral, including staff resumes, project descriptions, and relevant project data.
- Support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns and email communications.
- Contribute creative ideas and strategies to strengthen brand awareness and the firm's position in the marketplace.

Qualifications
\n

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively with leadership and technical teams.
- Proactive, responsive, and solutions-oriented work ethic.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Deltek Vision or similar CRM/database software is a plus.
- Involvement with industry organizations such as SMPS, SAME, ACEC, CREW, or similar professional associations is preferred.
