Job Description

Sanitas Home Health Care is seeking an experienced home health business development and provider relations professional to grow referral relationships and support health plan contracting across Los Angeles County. This is a field-based position serving the Los Angeles healthcare community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare referral sources.

• Generate Medicare and Prime Healthcare referrals for home health services through consistent outreach and follow-up.

• Support contracting and network development with L.A. Care, Blue Shield of California, and Anthem Blue Cross.

• Coordinate with Sanitas leadership and clinical teams to respond to referral partner needs.

• Track outreach, referral activity, and follow-up in a timely, organized manner.

Required qualifications

• Prior home-health experience is required, including direct home-health referral development or provider relations. Candidates without home-health experience will not be considered.

• Demonstrated experience building healthcare referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, or similar referral sources.

• Experience with Medicare referrals and payer or provider relations.

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.

• Able to conduct field outreach throughout Los Angeles County.

This is a relationship-driven healthcare business development role. Experience limited to online, social-media, or Google marketing does not meet the required qualifications.

Compensation: $25–$37 per hour, based on experience.
