Floater Teacher Pay: $16.50-$17.50/hr
Assistant Teacher Pay: $17.00-$19/hr
Lead Teacher Pay: $20-$23/hr
Closer Teacher Pay: $17-$19/hr
Age Groups:
All positions are year-round permanent roles! NO seasonal or summer-only positions are available.
- Toddler Assistants (18-36 months)
- Full-Time Closer (10:00 am to 6:30 pm)
- Preschool Assistant
* Part-time position available. Candidates must be available to work all five days, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This is a fixed schedule; alternate days or hours are not available.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a careful and creative program suitable for specific age groups of children
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
- Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
- Track children’s progress and communicate with parents regularly
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age and a High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (required for Lead Teacher positions)
- OCFS certification preferred
