LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a part time, Communications Assistant, with 2+ years of experience, for a contract opportunity, for our client in the nonprofit industry. This role is onsite in the Southside of Richmond, VA. This is a great role that offers the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, edit, and manage content for newsletters, employee stories, website updates, web banners, flyers, graphics, social media campaigns, and short-form videos in alignment with the editorial and content calendar.
- Translate client's projects into clear public-facing stories; identify timely story angles; support press/media opportunity preparation; and assist with CVTA communications or video-production needs as assigned.
- Provide communications and graphic design support for marketing and editorial initiatives, Annual Report development and layout, and Natural Resources Plan community engagement efforts.
- Maintain assigned project boards, deadlines, dependencies, and status reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related fields..
- Strong content creation skills with experience developing articles, visual assets, presentations, social media content, and short-form video for diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Employment Type: 3 month contract, working 10 to 20 hours a week, flexible schedule
Compensation: $28.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
