Job Details:
\n
• Rotating schedule with a mock weekly rotation: Week 1 - Sunday, Monday, Friday; Week 2 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; Week 3 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday
\n • Perform and document diagnostic CT examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider
\n • Prepare completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist
\n • Analyze CT examinations for quality control purposes
\n • Operate all CT and related equipment as well as facility-based computer systems
\n • Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of a physician or per protocol
\n • Assist physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT
\n • Transport, move, and position patients in a safe and appropriate manner
\n • Perform appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver
\n • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT
\n • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school required
\n • Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT
\n • Must maintain licensure requirements with the state of Ohio
\n • Annual CPR certification or When Seconds Count certification required
\n • Minimum two years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred
