About the Role

- Lead the Account Planning function, setting strategic direction and raising the standard for planning quality, team performance and client impact.
- Serve as the strategic “quarterback” across clients, planning teams and channel specialists, translating business objectives into cohesive omnichannel media strategies.
- Personally shape media plans, channel mix and investment recommendations across linear TV, CTV, programmatic, search, social, audio, OOH and emerging media.
- Remain close enough to the work to challenge assumptions, evaluate planning outputs and make informed recommendations without immediately relying on specialists.
- Serve as a senior advisor to client executives, strengthening relationships across complex, high-value accounts.
- Turn audience intelligence, analytics and market insights into clear strategies, investment recommendations and executive-level presentations.
- Oversee campaign planning, audience strategy, measurement and optimization frameworks while ensuring plans connect directly to business outcomes.
- Drive account growth and retention by identifying opportunities to improve results and expand client partnerships.
- Partner closely with Digital, Analytics, Investment and Ad Operations teams to deliver integrated, measurable programs.
- Support new business through pitch strategy, senior client engagement and the development of compelling media solutions.

About You
\n

- 15+ years of progressive agency-side media planning and strategy experience.
- Deep, hands-on expertise developing omnichannel media strategies and determining the appropriate channel mix based on audience, business and performance objectives.
- Strong understanding of both traditional and digital channels, with the ability to independently evaluate recommendations across the modern media ecosystem.
- Proven success leading senior client relationships and serving as the primary strategic advisor across large, complex accounts.
- Strong command of data, measurement and analytics, with the ability to translate findings into persuasive insights and investment recommendations.
- Experience building, leading and mentoring planning teams across multiple levels.
- Track record of contributing to account growth, retention and new business development.

Salary Range: $190,000 – $215,000 annually, based on experience + bonus
