Position Summary:
\n
The Marketing Coordinator ensures the marketability of Credit Union products and associated materials. This includes assisting in developing, implementing, and tracking marketing and advertising campaigns while maintaining consistency in brand guidelines. The role also involves managing promotional materials inventory and planning meetings and public and private functions. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will assist Tulare County Federal Credit Union in fulfilling its mission of "Building valuable relationships with our members to create lifelong financial success." One of the primary ways to achieve this goal is by delivering outstanding service to both internal and external members.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Assists Business Development Manager in developing advertising and sales promotions for products and services;
- Assists with market research and makes recommendations for product/service modifications or improvements;
- Assists in developing online content, content libraries, and sources for social media interaction which meet strategic plans and initiatives;
- Works with community group(s); promotes the Credit Union and works with organizations to maintain a positive relationship;
- Assists with the coordination of special events; monitors planning, schedule and implementation as required for proper execution of each event;
- Assists in maintaining internal marketing communications to staff and informational meetings before promotions;
- Assists leadership, guidance and training for employee knowledge of marketing goals and objectives, marketing message & material;
- Assists in new hire training for sales and service;
- Motivates staff to sell Credit Union products and services and conducts transactional coaching;
- Assists and supports Branch Managers in marketing and business development efforts;
- Coordinates, participates, and represents the Credit Union in the promotional and social activities including community and private events;
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
\n
- \n
- Working knowledge of PC operations, word processing software, and multimedia design platforms such as Canva (Adobe Suite preferred).
- Working knowledge of social media platforms.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of marketing and business development practices, concepts and trends;
- Ability to learn additional systems as needed.
- Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to exemplify a high standard of professionalism with members and internal staff;
- Ability to assist in development and implement marketing strategies and plans;
- Ability to maintain regularly scheduled attendance.

Required Education & Experience:
\n
A combination of education and experience equivalent to a two-year college degree in business or marketing, or completion of specialized certification, or completion of specialized training courses, or three (3) years of similar related experience.
