Key Qualifications:

• Active teaching certification or licensure appropriate for K-8 classrooms
• Bachelor’s degree required (for emergency teaching permit eligibility)
• Demonstrated experience in schools, particularly with special needs students
• Ability to complete all Pennsylvania state clearances prior to start
• Mastery of subject matter, teaching methodologies, and resource utilization
• Reliable transportation and punctuality between 8:30 AM–4:00 PM; strict adherence to onsite work hours
• Proven classroom and behavioral management, especially in urban settings with diverse student needs
• Comfort working in environments supporting students with emotional and autistic needs

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in alignment with state and district requirements
• Utilize formative assessments and differentiate instruction to drive student achievement
