The Philadelphia Tribune, America's oldest continuously published African American newspaper and an award-winning multimedia organization, is seeking an energetic, ambitious, creative, and results-driven Advertising Account Executive to join our advertising sales team.
We are looking for a proven sales professional who can identify opportunities, develop relationships, close deals, and deliver innovative marketing solutions to local, regional, and national businesses.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive New Business: Prospect, identify, and secure new advertising clients while expanding existing accounts.
- Lead Digital Advertising Growth: Develop and sell digital advertising solutions, including website display advertising, sponsored content, digital campaigns, and integrated print-and-digital marketing packages.
- Create Strategic Marketing Partnerships: Work with businesses and organizations to develop customized advertising campaigns that increase visibility, strengthen brand awareness, and connect advertisers with targeted audiences.
- Build Revenue: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual advertising revenue goals.
- Present and Close Deals: Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate advertising agreements, and turn opportunities into long-term client relationships.
- Expand Market Opportunities: Identify new revenue opportunities across small businesses, major corporations, healthcare, education, financial services, retail, and professional services.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Demonstrated success in media sales, digital advertising, outside sales, or business-to-business sales.
- Strong prospecting, negotiating, presentation, and closing skills.
- Knowledge of digital advertising and integrated marketing strategies.
- A self-motivated professional with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and achieve revenue targets.
- Reliable transportation.
