Job Description

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000

A well-established, multidisciplinary orthopedic and pain management group in Central New Jersey is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to split time between hospital rounds and a busy outpatient clinic, with the chance to first-assist in minimally invasive spine surgery.

What You’ll Do:

Round on inpatients and complete consults at a partner community hospital, including postoperative, cancer, and acute or chronic pain patients
Perform histories and physicals and write pre- and post-operative orders
See outpatient clinic patients for image reviews, procedure follow-ups, and therapy evaluations
Independently assess patients and order appropriate labs, imaging, consults, injections, and surgeries
Prescribe medications per NJ law, including controlled substances with DEA authorization
Assist in surgical cases as the opportunity arises
Partner with attending physicians, fellow APPs, and the broader care team on individualized treatment plans
Keep growing as a clinician in a group that stays current on modern, minimally invasive care

What You’ll Bring:

NJ NP license (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) or NJ PA license
Pain management, orthopedic, or OR experience preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
