Installer Network Manager
Department: Fulfillment / Field Network
Reports To: Head of Fulfillment
Location: Remote (must live in WA State)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $65,000 - 72,000 USD base salary, with bonus potential up to 10%
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday
Job Summary
The Installer Network Manager is responsible for building, developing, and maintaining a high-performing network of independent and partner installers. This role owns the end-to-end process of recruiting, vetting, and onboarding qualified installers, planning/executing training programs, and providing ongoing weekend support to both the installer network and the sales team. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship-builder and organizer who is comfortable with a Wednesday–Sunday schedule, in-office collaboration, and being a reliable point of contact during weekend hours.

Work Schedule
- Standard work week is Wednesday through Sunday
- Time spent on installer training trips is planned in advance and allowed for — it does not add on top of the standard in-office schedule
- Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday), while working from home, is required to support Weekend Sales Coverage and Weekend Installer Support responsibilities below
Location & Travel
- Expect approximately 20% travel, primarily for installer training trips — this could fluctuate month to month based on training needs and territory expansion
Key Responsibilities
Installer Training & Trip Planning
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate installer training trips, including logistics such as travel, venue/site selection, materials, and budgeting
- Develop and maintain training curricula and certification standards for new and existing installers
- Coordinate with subject matter experts, vendors, or internal teams to deliver hands-on and classroom-style training sessions
- Track training attendance, completion, and certification status across the installer network
- Evaluate training effectiveness and update programs based on feedback and field performance
Installer Network Management & Recruitment
- Manage and grow the overall network of installers, maintaining accurate records of network status, capacity, and coverage by region
- Recruit installers through job postings on Facebook, recruitment sites, and other sourcing channels
- Interview and vet candidates to ensure they meet quality, licensing, and safety standards
- Hire and onboard new installers, ensuring contracts, proof of insurance, and training materials are received and on file before installers are activated in the network
Weekend Sales Coverage
- Answer incoming sales calls on Saturdays and Sundays
- Return all missed sales calls and voicemails received over the weekend
- Clear out the Sales Inbox on Saturday and Sunday
Weekend Installer Support
- Serve as the reachable point of contact for installers with questions over the weekend
Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Send a monthly newsletter to the installer network announcing installer-related changes and new product announcements
- Work closely with the Head of Fulfillment to collaborate on solutions for field defects and issues, using field feedback to help inform fixes
- Create and maintain documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for resolving ongoing/common field issues, enabling faster and more consistent support for installers while on site
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in field operations, contractor/installer network management, recruiting, or a related area
- Proven experience planning and executing in-person training events or programs
- Strong recruiting/sourcing experience, including job board and social media posting (e.g., Facebook)
- Experience interviewing, vetting, and onboarding contractors or field personnel, including tracking contracts, insurance, and training documentation
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple trips/initiatives simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Comfortable working a Wednesday–Sunday schedule, including weekend phone/sales coverage and being on call for installer questions
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for training trips (~20% travel, fluctuating by month)
- Proficiency with [CRM/scheduling/training platform tools, if applicable]
- Hands-on experience with hand and power tools, and general construction/carpentry or installation skills (e.g., framing, basic electrical or plumbing familiarity) sufficient to learn and perform installations
- Must complete an internal training period and become proficient in sauna installation/building in order to effectively support and train installers on site
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outdoor living, sauna/spa, or home improvement installation industries
- Background in adult learning/training design
- Experience writing newsletters or internal communications
- Bilingual proficiency a plus
