Job Description

Part-Time / Full-Time | 28–40 Hours per Week | Hybrid | $28–$34 per Hour | Benefits and Quarterly Bonus

Help EcoCraft tell its story, strengthen client relationships, and keep projects and operations running smoothly.

The Opportunity

EcoCraft is a locally owned residential design-build company creating thoughtful remodels, additions, ADUs, custom homes, and distinctive wellness-focused spaces throughout the Portland-Vancouver area. Our work is highly personal: clients invite us into their homes and trust us to guide significant decisions and investments. How we communicate and build relationships matters just as much as the quality of our construction. We are looking for a warm, organized, and resourceful communicator who enjoys connecting with people and bringing ideas to life. Someone who notices when communication has stalled, follow through without repeated reminders, and can turn an unformed idea into an organized actionable plan.

As a part of our team, you will strengthen EcoCraft's marketing and client relationships. You will coordinate content, newsletters, website updates, past-client communication, reviews, referrals, professional partnerships, and prospective- client follow-up. You will have access to visually compelling projects and the freedom to help shape how EcoCraft presents itself to the community. You will oversee operations coordination and executive support responsibilities. Approximately 60% of your time will support marketing and client relations and 40% to oversee office operations coordination.

This is not a purely behind-the-scenes content position. The right person enjoys initiating conversations, building professional relationships, and making clients feel welcomed, remembered, and confident about working with EcoCraft.

What You Will Own First

Your initial focus will be marketing and client relations as you learn EcoCraft’s services, clients, and systems. Your core marketing and client relations responsibilities will include:

• Maintain a practical marketing and communications calendar and carry approved campaigns through completion.

• Create and schedule authentic social media content using project photos, team input, and existing brand materials.

• Coordinate a quarterly customer newsletter with project stories, company updates, and helpful homeowner information.

• Keep website content, online profiles, and business listings current and consistent.

• Reconnect with past clients, request reviews and referrals, and maintain thoughtful ongoing communication.

• Follow up with prospective clients and help ensure every inquiry receives a timely, professional response.

• Identify and support community, networking, referral-partner, and industry relationship opportunities.

• Develop and update brochures, presentations, client packets, and other marketing materials.

• Maintain organized contact and CRM records and provide simple reporting on activity, leads, and results.

Who Will Thrive Here

• You build rapport easily and communicate with warmth, confidence, and good judgment.

• You enjoy both creative storytelling and careful organization.

• You take initiative, close communication loops, and bring possible solutions when you identify a problem.

• You remain calm when priorities change and can manage several responsibilities without losing follow-through.

• You are curious about what motivates clients and how marketing activity becomes genuine business opportunity.

• You are comfortable representing a small company where your work is visible and your contribution matters.

• You enjoy creating workflows and systems for efficiency.

How the Role Will Develop

Your initial focus will be marketing and client relations as you learn EcoCraft’s services, clients, and systems. As you become established, you will also take on operations coordination and executive support responsibilities. Once these responsibilities are integrated, we anticipate approximately 60% of your time to support marketing and client relations and 40% support coordination.

The operations coordination and executive support role includes overseeing and improving systems and processes; supporting the Designer and Project Manager with documentation, workflow, and client follow-up; and assisting the owner with scheduling, priorities, meeting preparation, and follow-through. You will help keep information organized, commitments on track, and communication consistent across the team and with clients.

We are looking for someone who enjoys both building relationships and keeping company systems and workflows organized—someone who learns quickly, anticipates needs, listens carefully, is a self-starter, and follows through. The role has potential to grow in hours, compensation, responsibility, and leadership.

client communication.

First 90 days - Manage established marketing routines and assigned operations coordination

and executive support responsibilities with limited prompting. Track deadlines,

workload.

• Strong written and verbal communication: Able to write clear marketing content, listen actively, and communicate professionally with clients, partners, and the team.
