DIGITAL DIRECTOR, ORGANIC SOCIAL & PAID MEDIA

PublishedPublished: 6/14/2022

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

\n

\n

The Director, Organic Social & Paid Digital is first and foremost a people leader who develops, challenges, and gets the best out of a digital team spanning organic social, paid media, and supporting specialists.

\n

\n

From there, this person needs to know the work. They can review an organic outline and make it better, look at a paid campaign and know what to change, and read a performance report and tell a clear story to a client. They are not above the work and should be ready and willing to do the work right alongside their team — they are the standard the work is held to

\n

\n

Strategy follows from those two things. A director who leads people and knows the craft will have real opinions about what's working and where the opportunities are. They bring ideas, facilitate the right conversations across organic, paid, SEO, and account services, and make sure ideas actually get executed with clear ownership every time.

\n

\n

This role reports to the VP, Account Strategy and oversees the full digital team, partnering closely with the Director, SEO & Website Services and Account Services to ensure digital strategy is integrated and every client program is moving in the same direction.

\n

\n

Red Thinking is a collaborative environment where people take ownership of their work and support one another. Job descriptions outline primary responsibilities but are not rigid boundaries. Directors are expected to lead, mentor, and influence across accounts and teams, stepping in wherever necessary to ensure client success, operational efficiency, and department-wide excellence.

\n

We value people who deliver on their promises, take initiative, and look for opportunities to contribute beyond the basics while maintaining balance, open communication, and a sustainable way of working together.
