About Us
Park 27 is a boutique Central Virginia real estate brokerage. We're a small, close-knit office that includes The Chris Small Group (CSG), the team led by our principal broker, Chris Small, who has more than four decades in the business. We take pride in our work and care a great deal about how our clients are treated.
About the Role
We're looking for the person who makes our office run. You'll be the first face people see when they walk in, the one who keeps the week on track, and a real partner to Chris and the team. No two days are quite the same: you might handle a vendor call in the morning, get a listing video ready to post at lunch, and drop off a lockbox in the afternoon.
This is more than a front-desk role. It combines office operations, marketing, and transaction support, and it's best suited to someone with real experience who is ready to own their work.

What You'll Do
Run the Office
You'll keep regular office hours and open and close the office each day. You'll greet clients and visitors, keep the office looking sharp, manage the calendar, and keep supplies stocked. You'll also be the main contact for our vendors (copier, internet, phones, cleaning) and make sure problems get fixed quickly.
Keep the Business Moving
You'll run practice-related errands around town, such as the bank, the post office, dropping off a lockbox, or picking up signs. You'll handle mail and correspondence, help onboard new agents, keep records organized, and track office expenses.
Bring Our Marketing to Life
You'll coordinate with the creative people and tools we work with, keep our marketing calendar, and make sure everything we put out looks polished and on-brand. Work with our resources to keep social media on point and growing as well as assist in the creation of two weekly email newsletters.
Help Our Deals Close Smoothly
You'll support the CSG team from accepted contract through closing day. That means keeping deadlines on track, scheduling inspections and appraisals, staying in touch with lenders and settlement companies, and keeping every file complete and organized. You'll be the reason nothing falls through the cracks.
Who You Are
- Organized, dependable, and someone who likes to get things done
- A warm, professional communicator, in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Comfortable with technology: Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, a CRM, email marketing, and simple design and video tools like Canva or CapCut
- Someone who notices what needs doing and handles it without being asked
- Discreet with client and business information
- 2+ years of office management, administrative, or assistant experience (real estate or professional services a plus)
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for local errands (mileage reimbursed)
Nice to have: Transaction coordination experience, a Virginia real estate license, or RAR and CVRMLS membership. None of these are required, and we're happy to train the right person.
