Position Overview
NXT Digital Agency is seeking a creative, reliable, and motivated Full-Time Content Videographer to film high-quality video content for our social media clients throughout Long Island. This is a hands-on, field-based position that involves traveling to client locations, capturing engaging video footage, and uploading organized content to our internal portal for the production team.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, interacting professionally with clients, operating video equipment or a smartphone camera, and capturing content that aligns with each client's brand and social media goals.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, being on the move, and working in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel throughout Nassau and Suffolk County to visit client locations and film social media content.
- Capture high-quality video footage for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other digital channels.
- Film a variety of content, including behind-the-scenes footage, service demonstrations, business operations, promotional videos, and short-form social media content.
- Work with local business owners, employees, and clients to capture footage that represents their brand and services.
- Follow content instructions, filming plans, and creative direction provided by the team.
- Ensure all required footage is captured during each scheduled client shoot.
- Upload raw video footage to the company's designated content portal promptly after each shoot.
- Organize and label uploaded files by client and shoot date to ensure an efficient handoff to the editing team.
- Review footage for quality, clarity, and completeness before uploading.
- Maintain and properly handle company equipment and any assigned filming gear.
- Manage daily shoot schedules, travel between appointments, and communicate any scheduling issues or delays.
- Represent NXT Digital Agency professionally while working at client locations.
- Meet established deadlines and maintain consistent communication with the internal team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Long Island for scheduled client shoots.
- Availability to work full-time during regular business hours, with flexibility when client schedules require it.
- Experience with videography, photography, social media content creation, or digital media preferred.
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and other short-form video formats.
- Comfortable filming with a smartphone, camera, or other video recording equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote or in-office production team.
- Willingness to learn new filming techniques, content trends, and company processes.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, creative, and comfortable spending much of their workday traveling to client locations. The right candidate takes pride in capturing quality footage, stays organized, communicates well, and understands the importance of delivering content on time.
You do not need to be a professional video editor for this position. The primary responsibilities are filming content, capturing all required footage, and uploading organized files to our portal for the editing team.
