We are looking for a skilled, licensed hairstylist interested in renting a chair in our spacious, modern beauty lounge and spa. This opportunity is ideal for a friendly, professional, and reliable stylist who wants to serve their clients in a welcoming salon environment with flexible hours.

This is a chair rental opportunity, not a salaried, hourly, or commission-based employment position. You will pay a weekly chair rental fee and keep the earnings from your clients’ services. An active cosmetology license is required.

Ideal Stylist:

• Holds an active cosmetology license.
• Has previous experience as a hairstylist and a passion for providing high-quality hair services.
• Is punctual, reliable, organized, and professional.
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Can work independently while maintaining a respectful relationship with other salon professionals.
• Is committed to building and maintaining a loyal clientele.
• Stays current with hair trends, techniques, and products.
• Is comfortable recommending appropriate services and at home hair care products.

Experience with Dominican blowouts and styling thick hair is strongly preferred. Fluency in English and Spanish is also preferred, as a significant portion of our clientele speaks Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality hair services and personalized consultations.
• Create a welcoming, positive experience for your clients.
• Manage your own appointments, including bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and properly clean and disinfect tools in accordance with applicable health and safety requirements.
• Educate clients about hair care and recommend suitable products and services.
• Handle client questions and concerns professionally.
• Respect shared salon spaces and help maintain a clean, comfortable environment.
