Job Summary
An Appointment Setter is responsible for contacting potential customers by phone, email, text, or social media to generate leads, qualify prospects, and schedule appointments for the sales team. The goal is to create opportunities for sales representatives to present products or services and close deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to potential customers and respond to incoming inquiries.
- Contact leads generated through marketing campaigns and follow up with interested prospects.
- Explain the company's products or services and identify customer needs.
- Schedule appointments, consultations, or sales meetings for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, customer information, and appointments in the CRM system.
- Confirm appointments and send reminders to reduce cancellations and no-shows.
- Meet daily and monthly targets for calls, appointments booked, and qualified leads.
- Build rapport with potential customers and maintain a professional attitude.
- Follow up with prospects who are not ready to schedule immediately.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and telephone etiquette.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to persuade, handle objections, and build relationships.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and working toward sales targets.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software.
- Previous sales, telemarketing, or customer service experience is an advantage but may not be required.
