Job Description

Synaptic Management Group is seeking a creative, organized, and outgoing Marketing and Brand Coordinator to
execute branded materials, coordinate events and merchandise, and independently manage two social media pages
for one company. This hands-on role combines graphic design, content production, social media management, and
cross-team project coordination.

You will work directly with employees, leadership, vendors, customers, and creative partners. The ideal candidate
can confidently lead a shoot, produce polished creative work, manage competing deadlines, and move projects from
idea to completion.

Key Responsibilities

01 | Social Media Management — Two Pages, One Company

  • Own day-to-day management of two assigned social media pages under one company, including content calendars, scheduling, publishing, and audience engagement.
  • Independently plan, shoot, and edit original social media photos, short-form videos, reels, and stories, from concept through final delivery.
  • Design branded social graphics, write captions, and adapt creative assets to each platform while following
    approved brand guidelines.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond or escalate appropriately under company guidelines.
  • Track performance and provide concise monthly reporting with recommendations for improvement.

02 | Content Production and Creative Direction

  • Coordinate photo and video schedules, participants, locations, props, products, and required approvals with the
    Photographer and Social Media Managers.
  • Capture engaging photo and video content featuring employees, customers, events, products, and company initiatives.
  • Help employees and other participants feel comfortable and energized while appearing on camera.
  • Confidently approach people throughout the organization to identify stories and content opportunities.

03 | Brand Design and Marketing Collateral

  • Create and update presentations, brochures, booklets, newsletters, flyers, signage, sales materials, event
collateral, employee materials, and other branded assets.
  • Translate approved messaging and project requirements into clear, professional layouts using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Prepare files for digital use, internal distribution, professional printing, and vendor production.
  • Proofread materials and confirm that names, dates, offers, locations, contact information, links, and required disclosures are accurate before approval.
  • Maintain current templates and brand assets for each company and remove outdated versions from circulation.
  • Develop and maintain marketing packages for company products, services, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with departments to identify collateral needs and keep digital and physical assets organized, current, and brand-consistent.

04 | Merchandise, Events, and Vendor Coordination

  • Develop approved merchandise concepts and coordinate sourcing, pricing, samples, ordering, inventory, assembly, and distribution.
  • Coordinate branded packages, promotional items, new-hire materials, employee incentives, sponsorship materials, and event supplies.
  • Coordinate schedules, merchandise, signage, promotional materials, activities, and event logistics.
  • Help plan and coordinate team-building activities, holiday parties, customer appreciation events, sponsorships, community initiatives, and other company events.
  • Help create an energetic, welcoming, and memorable experience for attendees.
  • Track vendor quotes, production deadlines, quantities, delivery dates, and final costs.

Qualifications

Creative and Technical Skills

  • Advanced hands-on video editing skills, including short-form storytelling, pacing, captions, audio, and platform-
    ready exports.
  • Proven ability to independently shoot and edit high-quality social media content.
  • Strong graphic design skills with the ability to translate brand guidelines into polished presentations, brochures,
    and social media assets.
  • Experience managing social media pages end-to-end, including content planning, publishing, and community engagement, and basic performance reporting.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred.

Organization and Communication

  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize competing deadlines while maintaining quality
    under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with vendors, employees, company leaders, and external partners.
  • Outgoing and personable, with the confidence to approach new people and initiate conversations.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera, conducting informal interviews, and directing others during content
    production.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive about following up and moving projects forward.
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities may change.
  • Able to receive direction and feedback while independently taking ownership of assigned projects.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, content production, event coordination, hospitality, public relations, or a related field preferred.

What Success Looks Like

  • You actively identify content opportunities instead of waiting for every assignment.
  • Photo shoots, videos, events, and collaborative projects feel organized and engaging.
  • Marketing projects continue moving forward because you communicate, follow up, and maintain accountability.
  • Content and branded materials are polished, accurate, and consistent across the organization.
  • Both assigned social media pages have consistent, engaging, on-brand content and reliable publishing
    schedules.
  • Company events and employee engagement initiatives are welcoming, memorable, and professionally executed.
  • The Marketing Manager and creative team can rely on you to bring both organization and energy to the
    department.
