Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst for a contract/temporary opportunity in Baldwin Park, CA, supporting business data research and customer classification efforts within the energy and utilities industry. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys investigative research, data accuracy, structured processes, and working with large datasets.
As a Data Analyst, you will review customer business records, conduct online research, assign accurate NAICS codes, and help maintain high-quality business data. This opportunity offers a professional, process-driven environment with clear expectations, collaborative support, and meaningful work that contributes to better customer data quality and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business customer records and conduct online research to determine accurate business classifications.
- Assign and document appropriate NAICS codes based on research findings and available information.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company systems, spreadsheets, and large datasets.
- Analyze incomplete, unclear, or conflicting information and make informed classification decisions.
- Follow established documentation, review, and quality-control processes to ensure data accuracy.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits
- Contract/Temporary opportunity.
- Location: Baldwin Park, CA.
- Salary range: $52,000 to $62,400 per year.
