Advance your experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an engaging school setting near Media, PA! We're seeking dedicated RBT professionals for full-time, onsite contract roles supporting K-2 or middle school students with autism and behavioral needs. With 5 immediate openings—three at an arts-focused elementary school (Autistic Support classrooms), and two at a middle school (male RBTs only per client request)—you’ll be part of a collaborative special education team committed to student growth and well-being.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification (must be maintained independently; the district does not provide supervision)
- Minimum of one year of school-based experience
- Experience supporting students with autism and behavioral challenges in SPED settings
- Comfortable adapting to changing needs in dynamic school environments
- Ability to work the assigned caseload
- Must have reliable transportation and provide references
- Able to obtain Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
- For middle school positions, male candidates only per client requirement
- Strong communication skills; able to complete a brief Zoom interview
- Not open to Paraprofessionals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 or small group ABA interventions and behavior supports
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as directed by BCBA or supervisor
- Document progress and support IEP team communication
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to foster student success
- Flexibly respond to evolving needs across the school day and caseload
