Make a daily impact supporting students in a dynamic and rewarding school environment! Multiple full-time, contracted opportunities are available for individuals passionate about working as paraprofessionals. These roles are onsite and provide invaluable hands-on experience supporting children in K-12 educational settings near the Media, PA area.
With 35 working hours per week and a flexible shift window between 7:15AM and 4PM (dependent on site assignment), you’ll have the opportunity to tailor your workday while gaining exposure across a variety of caseloads. Roles begin as soon as possible and extend through June 10, 2027, giving you stability and room for professional growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Active CPR certification (or willingness to obtain—resources available)
- School-based experience (references must be completed)
- Flexible and open to working across K-12 settings
- Able to obtain/complete PA state clearances
- Comfortable supporting Special Education students, including those with behavioral challenges, elopement issues, and providing 1:1 services
- Willing and able to assist with toileting/diapering as needed
- Reliable transportation to travel between sites
- Responsive, adaptable, and able to thrive in an urban school setting

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support students in the classroom and throughout the school, providing 1:1 assistance
- Help with daily living skills as needed, including personal care
- Work collaboratively with educators and related service providers
- Demonstrate patience and understanding when managing challenging behaviors
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
