Our client is seeking an organized and highly motivated Paralegal to join its team-oriented Elder Law and Estate Planning practice in Woodbury, Long Island, NY. The role involves daily client interaction and requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in preparing and administering estates and trusts, drafting legal documents, and processing Medicaid applications is a plus. The position also offers opportunities for growth and education in Financial Services and Accounting.
Responsibilities

Draft, proofread, and finalize estate planning documents.

Assist with Medicaid intake, processing, and review with the Department of Social Services.

Process estate administration matters.

Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and courts.

Answer phones and manage calendars and appointments.

Assist with marketing and social media projects.

Provide concierge services to clients.
Qualifications

At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and a highly motivated approach.
