Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support a non-profit organization in Piedmont, South Carolina. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical work with creative marketing support in a mission-driven environment. The person in this role will help strengthen outreach efforts by reviewing performance data, coordinating campaign activity, and assisting with communication initiatives across multiple channels.
Responsibilities:
• Review marketing data and prepare reports that highlight campaign performance, audience engagement, and key trends for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with the planning, execution, and follow-up of email outreach, direct marketing efforts, and other promotional initiatives.
• Coordinate day-to-day marketing activities to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with team goals.
• Support the development and distribution of marketing communications across digital and traditional channels.
• Help manage social media activity by scheduling content, monitoring engagement, and maintaining a consistent brand presence.
• Provide event support through coordination of logistics, promotional materials, and communication with participants or vendors.
• Track campaign results and share actionable insights that can improve future outreach and community engagement efforts.• Experience supporting marketing campaigns in areas such as email communications, social media, or direct outreach.
• Ability to gather, interpret, and present report data in a clear and useful format.
• Familiarity with coordinating marketing-related projects and managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience assisting with event logistics or promotional activities is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment within a mission-focused organization.
• Proficiency with common marketing and office software tools used for reporting, communication, and campaign support.
