Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Records Clerk to support a busy legal services environment with medical records processing, document organization, and case file management. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for someone with medical records experience from a law firm, doctor’s office, hospital, or similar setting who enjoys working with technology and keeping important records accurate and accessible.
This fully onsite role offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule, hands-on training with legal technology, and the opportunity to work closely with a supportive legal team. The environment is well suited for someone who values teamwork, professional communication, confidentiality, and strong organization. Candidates who take pride in accuracy, meeting deadlines, and helping a legal team stay prepared will be set up for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan, organize, process, and maintain medical records for legal case files.
- Upload and manage electronic documents in Filevine and other records systems.
- Review medical records for accuracy, completeness, and important case-related dates.
- Track deadlines, including statutes of limitations and other time-sensitive case requirements.
- Assist with client intake, phone coverage, and general administrative support as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal office.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $19.00 to $19.50 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work arrangement: Fully onsite, no remote options.
- Location: Maitland, FL 32751.
