Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with K-4 age groups and their unique developmental needs
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy goals tailored to individual students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with IEP teams and documenting progress
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to K-4 students per their IEPs and identified needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and professional development as needed
- Promote independence and functional skills, helping students flourish at school
- Maintain accurate records while adhering to district and regulatory guidelines
