About the Role
\n
Global Communications is looking for an AI Skills and Agents Lead to turn emerging AI capabilities into practical, repeatable ways of working. This role will design, build, test, and scale AI-powered skills, agents, and workflows that help the organization operate more efficiently, improve the quality and consistency of its work, and generate deeper insights from data.
\n
\n
You will work closely with partners across Global Communications to understand how work gets done today, identify high-value opportunities for automation or augmentation, and translate those opportunities into trusted solutions people can use in their daily workflows. This is a hands-on role for a builder, problem solver, and change agent who can move from an ambiguous business need to a usable prototype—and then to a well-documented, measurable capability.
\n
\n
What You’ll Do
\n
Build AI skills, agents, and workflows
\n
- \n
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to use AI across communications planning, measurement, reporting, research, content operations, knowledge management, and team workflows.
- Design and develop reusable AI skills, agents, prompts, workflows, and lightweight automations that support high-value business needs.
- Create solutions that assist with data synthesis, media and social listening analysis, reporting preparation, trend identification, briefing development, knowledge retrieval, quality checks, and stakeholder updates.
- Prototype quickly, test with representative users, incorporate feedback, and iterate toward solutions that are useful, intuitive, and reliable.
- Connect AI capabilities to approved data sources, tools, and processes while applying appropriate safeguards for sensitive or confidential information.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Improve operational performance
\n
- \n
- Map current-state processes and identify bottlenecks, duplication, manual effort, and opportunities to improve speed, quality, or consistency.
- Establish practical success measures, such as time saved, cycle-time reduction, adoption, quality, coverage, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Monitor deployed skills and agents, identify failure modes, and continuously improve their instructions, inputs, outputs, and controls.
- Develop reusable patterns, standards, and documentation so successful solutions can scale beyond one-off experiments.
- Help establish an operating model for maintaining, governing, and retiring AI capabilities as needs and technologies evolve.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Enable adoption and responsible use
\n
- \n
- Partner with colleagues to co-design solutions that fit naturally into existing ways of working.
- Create clear documentation, playbooks, examples, and enablement materials that help teammates use AI confidently and effectively.
- Facilitate demos, working sessions, office hours, and learning opportunities that build practical AI fluency.
- Promote responsible AI practices, including human review, transparency about AI-assisted work, appropriate data handling, bias awareness, and clear escalation paths.
- Serve as a trusted point of view on practical AI applications, limitations, and emerging opportunities relevant to communications and public relations.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
What You Bring
\n
- \n
- Experience designing, building, or implementing AI-enabled workflows, agents, automations, or knowledge solutions in a business environment.
- Strong understanding of generative AI concepts, including prompting, grounding, retrieval, evaluation, structured outputs, tool use, and human-in-the-loop design.
- Ability to translate business problems into practical technical or semi-technical solutions.
- Experience with data analysis, measurement, reporting, research, operations, or workflow improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Sound judgment, curiosity, and a bias toward experimentation balanced with appropriate risk management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work through ambiguity, and deliver incremental value in a fast-moving environment.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Helpful Additional Experience
\n
- \n
- Communications, public relations, marketing, customer insights, or corporate affairs.
- APIs, scripting, or low-code/no-code automation.
- Data visualization, AI evaluation, or enterprise change enablement.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
What Success Looks Like

- Establish a practical framework for evaluating use cases based on value, feasibility, risk, and readiness.
- Deliver and test an initial set of high-value skills or agents with representative users.
- Define baseline measures for impact and adoption, and create foundational usage guidance.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Over time, you will:
\n
- \n
- Reduce manual effort and cycle time across priority workflows.
- Improve the consistency, quality, and accessibility of communications insights and reporting.
- Increase confidence and capability in using AI as a partner to human expertise.
