Roswell, GA 30076 | 13-week contract | Day shift | $50–$55/hour W-2, based on experience
We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Radiology CT Technologist to join a multidisciplinary imaging team. Reporting to the imaging manager with lead technologist support, this role performs CT and radiographic imaging for a mixed inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and trauma-focused patient population, including portable imaging within the facility. The technologist delivers high-quality diagnostic images while providing safe, respectful, and compassionate care. The role includes access to continuing education and advanced CT specialization and certification support.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures according to established protocols.
- Screen patients, verify orders and identity, obtain histories, and assess contraindications.
- Administer contrast media safely and operate power injectors.
- Position patients correctly and apply radiation-protection practices.
- Review image quality and transmit completed studies to PACS.
- Complete RIS documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor patients, respond to emergencies, and communicate changes requiring physician intervention.
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate communication to patients and families.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, cleanliness, infection-control standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Support inpatient and portable imaging workflow within the facility.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in computed tomography.
- ARRT Radiography certification.
- ARRT Computed Tomography certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of computed tomography, radiography, contrast media administration, radiation protection, patient positioning, PACS, RIS, and emergency response.
- Strong patient communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
