Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a welcoming K-8 environment where your skills will be valued and your impact will be felt each day! Two full-time onsite positions are available in a vibrant school community, offering the opportunity to make a genuine difference for students.
One position centers on 6th-8th grade students, focusing on evaluations and support during school hours (8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). The second position includes occasional out-of-district (OOD) evaluations and assessment overflow at the ESA Middle School, with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Both roles are 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, requiring full in-person attendance in confirmed urban district settings. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will extend through June 10, 2027.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Demonstrated school-based experience, preferably in an urban environment
- Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Comfortable working onsite with middle school populations
- Committed to a consistent, full-time, in-person schedule
- Able to obtain all necessary Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
- Reliable transportation is required for daily onsite work
- Adept at collaborating with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate on student interventions
- Provide consultative services and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
