Job Summary
A values-driven family law practice is seeking a Part-time Family Law Attorney to serve in an Of Counsel capacity for family law matters throughout Central Florida. This is a direct hire, 100% remote opportunity ideal for an experienced Florida attorney who wants flexible, supplemental case work without the responsibility of generating new business.
This role offers meaningful client interaction, autonomy, and support from an established legal team. The attorney will independently manage assigned family law cases from start to finish, including hearings, mediations, client communication, and case strategy, while receiving behind-the-scenes assistance with drafting, research, document review, and case preparation.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage assigned family law cases while maintaining direct client relationships.
- Personally handle hearings, mediations, and other case-related proceedings.
- Communicate with clients regarding legal strategy, case updates, deadlines, and next steps.
- Manage case timelines, court deadlines, and client expectations in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the firm’s support team for legal research, drafting, document review, and case preparation.
- Represent clients in family law matters throughout Central Florida.
Compensation and Benefits
- Attorney billing rate: $115 per hour.
- Consultation fee: $80, with potential increase to $82 to $83 next year.
- Attorney compensation typically equals approximately 80% of billable time, with potential for a higher percentage in some circumstances.
- Travel reimbursement provided for in-person hearings.
- Part-time, Of Counsel opportunity with flexible workload.

- Attorneys may accept as many cases as desired based on availability and capacity.
