Job Description

Leeds Professional Resources is seeking a driven, results-oriented Full Desk Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle—from developing new client relationships and generating job orders to sourcing, interviewing, presenting, and placing qualified candidates.

Success in this role requires a strong balance of business development, recruiting, networking, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

\n

Business Development

\n

    \n
  • Identify and develop new client relationships through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and other business-development strategies.
  • \n

  • Prospect companies with current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • \n

  • Develop relationships with hiring managers, HR professionals, Talent Acquisition teams, and company executives.
  • \n

  • Conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs, company culture, compensation, and position requirements.
  • \n

  • Generate new job orders and expand existing client relationships.
  • \n

  • Present Leeds Professional Resources' staffing solutions and value proposition to prospective clients.
  • \n

  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and clients to build long-term partnerships.
  • \n

  • Negotiate terms, fees, and other business agreements within company guidelines.
  • \n

Recruiting

\n

    \n
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, databases, social media, and other recruiting resources.
  • \n

  • Conduct phone and video interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, career goals, and cultural fit.
  • \n

  • Match candidates to appropriate client opportunities.
  • \n

  • Prepare candidate profiles and present qualified candidates to clients.
  • \n

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • \n

  • Manage the candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • \n

  • Conduct reference checks and assist with background and employment verification processes as needed.
  • \n

  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates across assigned specialties.
  • \n

Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, or related experience preferred.
  • \n

  • Staffing agency experience strongly preferred.
  • \n

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
  • \n

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • \n

  • Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting business-development activities.
  • \n

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
  • \n

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • \n

  • Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with a strong desire to succeed.
  • \n

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, recruiting platforms, and CRM/ATS systems.
