Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Pay Rate: $60/hr

Position Overview:
A skilled Director of Nursing (DON) is needed for an 8-week contract assignment in Parkersburg, WV. This role oversees nursing operations, ensures high-quality resident care, and supports leadership within the facility. Ideal for an experienced nurse leader who can step in quickly and provide strong clinical and administrative guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to nursing staff

• Monitor quality of care and implement improvement plans as needed

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow

• Address resident/family concerns promptly and professionally

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Requirements:

• Active RN license (WV or compact)

• Previous DON or nursing leadership experience required

• Strong understanding of long-term care or skilled nursing standards

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

• Ability to start quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
