Restaurant General Manager - Scratch Kitchen, Polished Casual

You know the restaurants where the GM is actually on the floor, the kitchen cooks from scratch, and the team has been there for years. That is the restaurant we are hiring for.

A national, full-service polished casual brand is looking for a General Manager to run one of its Charlotte restaurants. This is a Proprietor-style role: you own the building, the P&L, the team, and the guest experience, with a support center behind you and a District leader who wants you to succeed.

What you will own

The guest experience, table by table. You are in the dining room, not in the office.
A true scratch kitchen. Every plate is prepped and cooked in house, and you protect that standard with your Kitchen Manager.
Your team. Hire for hospitality, coach with purpose, and keep good people. Turnover is the number this brand watches.
The business. Sales, labor, food cost, and the full P&L for a $3M+ restaurant.
Your 3-mile ring. Community involvement is part of the job, and they mean it.

What they are looking for

5+ years as a General Manager or Managing Partner in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
A background with national full-service brands or polished regional groups
Stable work history. Two jobs in the last five years, not six.
Strong front and back of house knowledge, with real P&L ownership
A hands-on leader people want to follow
