About The Calvinist Cadet Corps
\n
The Calvinist Cadet Corps (CCC) is an independent (non-denominational) youth ministry
\n
organization whose goal is to provide Christian men with a structure, program and materials
\n
that are uniquely designed to help boys grow spiritually in all areas of life – devotional, mental,
\n
physical and social. We provide the local church with a ministry program that will enable them
\n
to effectively share Christ’s love with boys from their church and community.
\n
\n
About the position
\n
Cadets is looking to add a Promotions and Development Coordinator to our team. This role will
\n
support the day-to-day operations of marketing, communications, and events. This is a great
\n
role for someone who is creative, detail oriented, full of ideas and excited about growing the
\n
ministry.
\n
\n
This is a full-time exempt position (40 hours per week) based out of our Kentwood office. A parttime
\n
position would be considered for the right candidate. The majority of the time will be during standard business hours, with minimal travel expected.

Starting salary: $47,000 - $52,000

Responsibilities:
\n
Promotion and Communications:
\n
Social media – Support the day-to-day management of social media channels including
\n
scheduling, publishing and monitoring content. Work with the Creative Director for overall social
\n
media vision. Support content gathering, photography, stories and other marketing needs.
\n
\n
Communications – Build, test and schedule email communications including newsletters and
\n
event promotion. Manage and answer online inquiries about the Cadet program.
\n
Bonus: Website updates – Make routine updates and help keep digital content current and
\n
accurate.
\n
\n
Development and Events:
\n
Growth – Create and execute campaigns to promote the growth of the organization. Represent
\n
Cadets at a variety of events intended to promote the organization.
\n
\n
Education – Support churches with current clubs in the growth and development of their
\n
ministry.
\n
\n
Events – Work with Office Manager to lead the planning and execution of a variety of
\n
fundraising events including, but not limited to, our annual dinner & auction, and golf outing.
\n
Cultivate partnerships and help achieve participation and revenue.
\n
\n
Fundraising – Plan and execute campaigns including direct mail and digital, in collaboration with
\n
the Executive Director and design team.
\n
\n
Bonus: Grants – Assist with grant support functions, including researching new opportunities.
\n
\n

• A strong communicator, both verbal and written
\n
• A multi-tasker, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Passionate about the involvement of the church in the lives of children
