Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience to perform a wide range of CT imaging studies in a busy community hospital setting.
Details\n
- \n
- Busy community hospital with two primary CT scanners performing roughly 40-60+ scans per day
- Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient volume
- Adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings
- 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- Uses Siemens equipment and PACS system

Requirements\n
- \n
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
- ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
- NJ State or Compact Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable, and must be in hand at time of submittal
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience with abdomen and pelvis, colorectal, enterography, and IVP studies
- Experience with head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging
- Experience with special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography
- Experience with vascular chest imaging including PE, CTA, and aorta studies
- Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
- Skilled in starting peripheral IVs

- 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted
- Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
