Pay Range: $15–$20/hr. DOE
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Worker to support daily warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving operations for a land-clearing and mulching company. This role ensures the warehouse stays organized, inventory remains accurate, and field crews receive the parts, tools, and materials needed to keep operations running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working around equipment, parts, and industrial materials. This position works closely with field crews, equipment operators, service personnel, and office staff to ensure materials are available when needed.
This is an active, physical warehouse role that involves frequent lifting, loading, unloading, and operating (or learning to operate) forklifts and pallet jacks. A strong work ethic and pride in maintaining a clean, safe environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, stocking, organizing, and distributing materials
- Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities, parts, materials, and purchase orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records; perform regular counts and stock checks
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
- Pull, stage, and prepare parts, tools, supplies, and materials for field crews
- Prepare, package, label, and organize outgoing shipments
- Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues
- Maintain organized inventory of equipment parts, supplies, tools, and materials
- Communicate with field crews and office staff regarding inventory levels and material needs
- Assist with tracking and maintaining parts and supplies for land-clearing and mulching equipment
- Keep warehouse, storage, and loading areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience preferred
- Forklift or warehouse equipment experience is a plus; training may be provided
- Experience working around heavy equipment, machinery, parts, or industrial materials is a plus
- Ability to accurately receive, count, organize, and track inventory
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical duties for extended periods
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable work history
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with field and office personnel
- Safety-conscious attitude and willingness to follow procedures
- Ability to work in an active warehouse and outdoor environment as needed
