Radiology Tech – CT Tech, traveling assignment in Cumming, GA, starting 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,293–$2,340 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour nights (12x3). Work setting: hospital environment in a high-volume CT department.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging exams across a busy, 24-hour department using multiple Siemens scanners (Edge Plus, Definition AS, Force) to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
- Position patients, select appropriate protocols, and optimize scanning parameters to balance image quality and patient safety.
- Administer contrast media per orders and monitor for adverse reactions; operate contrast injectors and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain strict radiation safety practices, verify patient identity and exam accuracy, and ensure infection control standards are followed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team; maintain clear, concise communication using SBAR for handoffs and document results in the electronic health record (Cerner).
- Manage a high-volume workflow in a facility with about 130 exams per weekday and ~80 exams per weekend day, including both inpatients and outpatients. Adhere to unit procedures for various CT protocols and scheduling.
Requirements
- ARRT CT certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience in a high-volume setting.
- Ability to work in a 24-hour department and to perform 12-hour night shifts.
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location.
- Holiday coverage: must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (e.g., the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
