Key Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Perform CT imaging procedures in an acute care, Level I Trauma Center environment
- Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and best practices
- Operate Siemens CT equipment and document within Epic EMR
- May be required to float to a nearby affiliated facility approximately half a mile from the primary location
- Work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment; two holidays required during winter holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, NYE/New Year's)

Required Qualifications\n

- BLS certification required
- ARRT(R) certification required
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- Virginia state license required; any active state license in hand is accepted — Virginia may grant emergency authorization while a permanent VA license is processing
- Siemens CT experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum one year of CT Tech experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
- Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills\n

- Prior travel experience in a high-acuity or trauma center setting
- Familiarity with contrast media protocols in a fast-paced imaging environment
