Construction Business Development Manager | B2 Constructors | Marietta, GA (Full-time, In-Office)
B2 Constructors is a service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVOSB), multi-state licensed general and mechanical contractor. We deliver high-quality projects for federal clients and are expanding into private markets. We're hiring a Business Development Manager to find, win, and grow new work in the public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Find and pursue federal, state, local, and private opportunities using SAM.gov, ConstructConnect, and Dodge
- Build lasting relationships with architects, engineers, owners, developers, and owners' reps
- Build and manage a pipeline that hits monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Work with Estimating so leads move smoothly into proposals
- Lead contract negotiations and stay clients' main contact from preconstruction through closeout
- Research market trends and present strategy recommendations to leadership
- Represent B2 at trade shows and industry groups, and help manage our social media
Qualifications
- 5–10 years in commercial construction, including 5+ years in business development or a client-facing role
- A track record of generating leads and winning new clients in the public and private sectors
- Hands-on experience with SAM.gov, ConstructConnect, or Dodge
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Skill with CRM and bid-tracking tools and MS Office
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted
