- This Role will require 5 days onsite in Newark, NJ
POSITION OVERVIEW
A team-oriented role focused on ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality of the audiobook catalog while supporting content delivery to millions of listeners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Queue Management
- Support production queue for internal/external audiobook providers
- Gather necessary elements for audiobook production
- Prioritize workflow based on stakeholder input
- Track titles through production queue
- Troubleshoot issues with various teams/external partners to ensure timely release
Catalog Maintenance
- Manage updates for existing products using content management systems and ONIX metadata
- Make and track changes to product records post-publication

- Avid consumer of online media (audiobooks, podcasts, digital content)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- B.A./B.S. or equivalent degree, preferably in humanities
- Minimum 1 year professional proofreading/copyediting experience
- Minimum 1 year editorial/operations experience in audiobook or podcast publishing
- Technical proficiency in:
- Windows operating environment
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
- Database concepts and best practices
- Multi-tasking and problem-solving
- Cross-functional team collaboration
- Attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong research skills (SEO, social media, web-based tools)
- Airtable
- Demonstrated ability in:
- Experience in audiobook, publishing, or digital media content operations
- Knowledge of ONIX metadata standards
- Project management and process improvement experience
- Understanding of content ingestion workflows
