• We are now expanding our recruiting force and seeking an entrepreneurial Executive Recruiter to own the Western Pennsylvania market.

Ideal Candidate Location

• This is a remote, work-from-home opportunity. The ideal candidate resides in Central or Western Pennsylvania - including markets like Pittsburgh, Erie, State College, Altoona, Johnstown, or surrounding areas - to be close to clients and candidates in the territory.
• The Opportunity: Full-Desk Restaurant Leadership Recruitment
• This is a true full-desk, 360-recruitment role for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will build and manage your own book of business while changing lives by connecting exceptional hospitality leaders with outstanding brands.

What You'll Do:

1. Full-Desk Recruitment

· Source, recruit, and place high-impact restaurant industry leadership talent

· Focus on leadership roles including: Chefs (Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef), Restaurant Managers, Kitchen Managers, General Managers, Director of Operations / Multi-Unit Managers, and Corporate Support roles

· Manage the full lifecycle: sourcing, interviewing, presenting, negotiating, and closing

· Build a deep pipeline of passive and active talent through networking, referrals, and advanced sourcing

2. Client & Account Management

· Establish recruiting needs by interviewing clients and meeting with hiring managers to discuss needs

· Serve as a trusted advisor to restaurant groups, independent concepts, and national chains on market trends, compensation, and talent strategy

· Provide an exceptional, people-centric candidate and client experience that drives retention and referrals

3. Business Development & Brand Ambassadorship

· Drive new business development within your Western PA territory

· Interact and benefit from Gecko Hospitality offices throughout the United States and Canada

· Actively market yourself and Gecko Hospitality as an ambassador for the brand through networking, social media, industry events, and community involvement

What We're Looking For

· Resides in Central or Western Pennsylvania (required for territory coverage)

· Background in restaurant / hospitality management, restaurant recruitment, or B2B sales is strongly preferred

· Motivated, friendly self-starter with personal discipline and an entrepreneurial attitude

· Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills

· Comfortable with uncapped commission and building a business within a business

· Proficiency with ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and social recruiting tools is a plus
