Job DescriptionDescriptionAccount Strategists work directly with clients across all aspects of digital and offline/linear media planning and strategy development. Additionally, campaign management, multi-media integration/ synchronization, optimization and evaluation will be core components of the role.
The right candidate will move the organization forward by supporting client relationships, developing innovative solutions, and performance reporting to help the delivery and achievement of client's goals.


Key ResponsibilitiesThe Account Strategist will be responsible for planning media campaigns across multiple channels, collaborating with other internal digital/traditional/analytics team members. They will:

  • Create multi-faceted media plans that excite the client and meet and exceed their business objectives
  • Steward campaigns to proactively deliver the best results for our clients.
  • Review, provide input, and take action on campaign results, demonstrating the effectiveness of the media optimization, and partnering with analytics team to deliver data-driven insights.
  • Explore and maintain research, innovation and change that affect media planning and buying across all elements of media, including but not limited to TV (linear and streaming), Social, Digital Display/Video, and YouTube.
  • Create and present media specific documents such as RFP's, media plans, objectives and strategies decks, POV's, and other related functions.
  • Utilize syndicated research to identify target audience trends (ComScore, Nielsen, Resonate, etc.).
  • Provide creative analysis and recommendations when appropriate to improve media performance.
  • Support billing and reconciliation process


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital & traditional planning/buying is desired.
  • Excellent skills in planning campaigns. Be prepared to articulate your planning knowledge.
  • Experience with media executed through Ad Networks, DSP, DMP, Ad Servers, Mobile, Facebook and SEM campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Proven record of successful media campaigns.
  • Collaborative, team player who works well in a team and across departments.
  • Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
  • An active interest in everything digital, ideally with an understanding of online advertising industry trends.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Diligent and attentive to detail.
  • Experience with compiling syndicated audience research and translating to personas.
  • Highly computer literate with good skills in all basic Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with AI systems, MediaTools, Wrike and Prisma are a plus!

Candidates must reside in one of these states at the time of hire and remain in an approved work location throughout their employment.
Employees designated as local to our Sandy Hook (Newtown), Connecticut office work a hybrid schedule and are expected to work in the office two days per week. Our office provides opportunities for in-person collaboration, connection, and team building—and even offers a beautiful waterfall and stream just outside our front door.
Employees designated as remote must be available to work during our core business hours of 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Remote employees may be asked to travel to our Connecticut office or other locations for company events, team meetings, client meetings, training, or other business needs. Our remote team members are currently invited to our Connecticut office at least twice each year for our Summer and Holiday events.
Work arrangements are determined by Mediassociates based on the employee's work location, position, and business needs.
