Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting high school students within a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, onsite position is available immediately and runs through June 10, 2027. You'll be working a 35-hour week, fully engaged with a high school caseload. The schedule requires your availability between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM—no exceptions can be made to these hours, ensuring continuity of care and collaboration.
As part of a diverse and collaborative team, you will deliver speech-language pathology and physical therapy services, supporting students' academic and personal development. Your contributions will be integral to a district that values hands-on professionals who are committed to making a difference in an urban setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Pennsylvania
- Demonstrated school-based experience; comfort working with high school-aged students
- Must possess reliable transportation to ensure onsite attendance
- Proven ability to complete all PA state clearances as required for school settings
- Experience working in urban schools preferred
- Comfortable with district policies and the location’s unique community
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services, including assessment, intervention, and documentation, for a high school student caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required
- Engage with students and families in a culturally responsive manner
