Bring your expertise as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a vibrant educational community in the Media, PA area! This full-time contract position is perfect for those committed to supporting student communication needs within an onsite environment. With three exciting openings available—serving elementary, middle (6th-8th grade), or high school caseloads—you’ll make a meaningful impact over the course of the academic year.
As an onsite contributor, you’ll become an integral part of a diverse district that values in-person engagement and collaboration. The role requires flexibility within the time frame of 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM and dedication to working collaboratively with staff, students, and families to foster communication growth.
What we’re looking for:
- Active SLP-CCC certification and relevant state licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting, ideally within an urban environment
- Comfortable working full-time onsite (virtual options are already filled)
- Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances before starting
- Reliable transportation to commute and transition between school sites as needed
- Demonstrated ability to manage age-appropriate caseloads—elementary, middle, or high school
- Professionalism and punctuality—work schedules cannot be adjusted or accommodated
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and providing direct speech and language therapy
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
- Documenting services and student outcomes according to district and legal requirements
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams and staff meetings as needed
Full-time schedule is 35 hours per week, with expected service through June 10, 2027. The interview process is a convenient Zoom meeting for your ease.
